Nokia Take Mobile Market By Storm Once Again

Despite considerable competition in the mobile marketplace and a host of new designs and technologies, Finnish supplier Nokia has once again maintained its position at the top of the pile. 2007’s sales figures show a fourth quarter growth of 19.5%, which amounts to a market share of 39.5% and a 5% increase over the global market rise in this period. Nokia shipped over 437 million units over the course of the year, attaining an impressive 38% market share, which is over three times that of Samsung, its nearest competitor.
